Coupons

I have started couponing. I dabbled here and there over the years, but now that I am in the know, I will be saving some moolah. Today, hit up the local Publix with my coupons....drumroll please....I saved $40.42. It's only a 40% savings on the whole bill, but my numbers were skewed a little because I had to get milk, sour cream and Juice at full price. (I couldn't find any coupons for them). I have yet to get to CVS this week to get my free money...but there is still time! Happy Couponing!

Snow again

Snow is upon us again. The last couple of snows Kaylynn couldn't come over because we were all sick with something. But this time we are all healthy and ready to sled!

Cullen 8 Months

My Cullen is already 8 months old! He is 18 pounds and counting. He has 2 teeth on the bottom and working on some top teeth. As I am typing this his army crawling to get some flowers to eat! He is determined to eat some dahlias!

Needless to say, my boy is growing so fast!

sickies

Here we are in the middle of November and the boys are sick. Bryant's sickness lasted 7 days and he is now back to being our precious little man. (Besides being 2).

Cullen has the crud now and is handling it well. He can't keep down solids but is keeping down the formula (thank goodness it's non-dairy and hypoallergenic).

Let's hope they are all better by Saturday for Kaylynn's birthday party at Chuck-e-cheese.

Football Season

Cullen's Tummy

I know I haven't been posting, but with good reason. My Cullen has been the worst baby for the first 2 months of his little life. He has had a sour tummy from day one. You and I both know if your tummy hurts, than you are not in a good mood. I have been stressed that he hasn't smiled yet...why would he? After switching from regular enfamil to gentlease to soy, now I think we have found the answer....Nutramigen. No milk involved in this formula. He is literally a different baby. In the last two days, we have seen the emergence of a smile...not a full on gummy grin, but the little Elvis lip curl and a few smirks. I think we are due for the big one soon! So here are a couple of pics.

Cullen...

Ok, so I know I have been slacking in the Blogging department...but with good reason. Cullen Baker showed up April 11. I have been a little busy. I have been a "stage Mom" to my 12 day old boy....here is the story...

My friend Mr. Ward hooked me up with his cousin Wiff Harmer and she and some other lovely ladies used Cullen as their baby model.

So I will overwhelm you with cuteness.

I am pretty sure this one is my favorite.

Although, naked babies are pretty cute too....

Don't be jealous...I get to kiss these little toes everyday.

That being said...Thank you again Wiff Harmer and friends for the lovely pictures...I can't wait to see more.

Snoring

Would it be wrong of me to post a video of my husband snoring? I got about 2 hours of sleep last night, here are the reasons:

1. Duke/Butler game was on too loud, had to stay up till that was over.
2. M came to bed after letting the dog out and started huffing and puffing because of my girth taking up more than my normal 6 inches of space.
3. B was coughing on and off all night.
4. I was accused several times of snoring and told to roll over....like it was me?? (I now have proof.)
5. The baby in my belly was trying to get comfortable, thus causing contractions and discomfort for me.

So, all in all, by the time I got into a deep sleep 6:30am rolled around and guess who is ready for breakfast?

I think this day calls for a nap.

I carried a watermelon....and a beachball

Ok, so here I am at almost 36 weeks. Is the baby sleeping in the front or the back? My arse is as big as my belly. Funny, no one tells you how big both sides are..."oh, your belly is getting so big!" What they really want to say is... "Damn girl, lay off the Ben & Jerry's."

The "done button" has popped....so, it could be any day now. Please for the love that is all holy don't let BB#2 hang in the womb until April 27th. I am hoping for Easter...Tax Day at the latest.

Bubbles and Bellies

Yesterday it was so pretty out, so got out our new bubble machine. It didn't work very well because it was so windy, but B loved it anyways.

On our last visit to the Pediatrician, we were told that Bryant may have to have surgery on his belly button. Our Doc thought he may have a hernia and referred us to a specialist. The good news is that his little belly button does NOT need surgery and the specialist said it would heal up on its own. So for now he will have an outty like his daddy and currently his mommy. (Mine is only sticking out because the little Turkey inside of me is juuuuuust about done.)

This is Bryant's new thing. I think he like the feeling of being dizzy....I guess we better make sure he isn't sniffing rubber cement at school too!! Enjoy.
